Fever : What You Need To Know

Warm Bath

Warm Bath

Taking a bath in cold water can lead to shivering and even elevate the temperature of the body. However, lukewarm water helps to reduce the temperature of the body. Do not try to bring the fever down by jumping to cold water because that causes blood to rush into internal organs to protect them from cold, and in this way, the temperature of the interior body warms up instead of cooling down.

If you are not up for a bath, you can put a wet towel on your head or back of the neck to rescue the body’s temperature.
