Hammer toe
Hammer toe is the deformity or un-alignment of the toes. It is the condition in which the toes curl inwards instead of pointing in the straight direction. Due to its hammer like shape, it is termed as hammer toe. This bending occurs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th toe. The bending occurs at proximal interphalangeal joints.
