Biofeedback therapy

Biofeedback is a mind and body treatment. It measures the signals in the body and observes how the body reacts to different pains. Biofeedback is used to treat foot ulcers caused by diabetic neuropathy, foot sprain and plantar fasciitis. Biofeedback allows the person to know about the involuntary responses generated by the body when encountered with pain. For example, diabetic neuropathy might result in foot ulcers which causes walking disability. By measuring the pressure at the injured point the therapist determines walking strategy and walking techniques.
