Exercise for foot pain
Exercising is a healthy way to treat foot pain. Not only exercise costs less than a doctor’s appointment and pain-relieving medicines, but it also has many other benefits. There are different exercises for relieving foot pain. Exercise plays a major role in strengthening and increasing the muscle and tendon flexibility of feet. (5)
Yoga
Yoga is a good way to treat foot pain, but a proper yoga pose can help in treating foot pain, otherwise, an irregular yoga pose can result in more misalignment and more pain. Several poses can help in treating foot pain.
- Tadasana pose:
Tadasana or mountain pose improves the posture by strengthening the ankle and improves the symptoms of flat feet.
- Baddha konasana:
This yoga pose is good for stretching the feet. In this pose the person sits down with a straight back and folds the legs inwards until they touch the pelvis. Doing this pose 2-3 times will improve foot pain.
