Paget disease of bone
Paget disease in the feet is not unusual and it mostly affects the calcaneus bone. Due to disruptive growth and dissolution of bones, rear part of foot might grow asymmetrically, which makes it difficult to wear a shoe. The new bones formed during Paget’s disease are weaker than healthy bone, which also results in foot pain.
