These are the drugs commonly used in asthma. In cases of respiratory compromise, these drugs can help by antagonizing the contracting effect of anaphylactic mediators on the lung tissue. Able to relax under these drugs, the lung tissue can undergo better gaseous exchange between itself and the blood.
