Bacterial Infection
Alongside the condition of an athlete’s foot, there might be a bacterial attack causing severe infections. When the patient is in severe condition with an athlete’s foot, and there is the formation of open sores too, then the bacteria quickly invade through these sores and cause infections. The bacterial attack increases the risk of the spread of athlete’s foot from one toe to the entire foot in a patient.
