Irritation
In the condition of an athlete’s foot, the person affecting experiences a lot of irritation due to the fungal infection. Whenever the person removes the shoes and exposes the feet to air, the irritation begins. The irritation leads to scratching the toes and sole area of the feet, thus leaving white itchy patches all over the feet.
