Indirect contact
Indirect contact involves the use of contaminated bedsheets, piece of clothing, and towels. The fungi pass from one contaminated surface to another and cause infection in the people who use these objects or simply touch these surfaces. The warm and humid places like swimming pools, changing rooms, and showers are commonly the places where a person is more prone to acquire the infection.
