Contact Allergy

Contact allergy or contact dermatitis is a skin condition in which the skin appears to be itchy, red rash, and it can lead to the development of an athlete’s foot in the patients. The outbreak occurring in the contact dermatitis is not infectious or contagious, but it provides the habitat for the tinea fungus to grow effectively in the rash area. The causes of contact allergy include allergic reactions to certain substances like cosmetics, soaps, fragrances, plants, and pieces of jewelry. The chemicals in these certain substances react with the skin surface and cause inflammation of the skin resulting in red patches of rash.
