Ulcer Formation

Ulcer formation is not very common in every case of an athlete’s foot, but in some cases, there is the development of ulcers or open sores on the feet. The development of these open sores is also an open invitation for the fungal and bacterial attack, further worsening the skin condition. Moreover, after a bacterial invasion, the open wounds lead to the oozing out of pus from the sores and make the skin more swollen.
