Cracking of skin
The large fissures or splits appear in between the area of toes, and it is extremely painful. From these fissures, the tiny flakes of skin which is infected may fall off, thus cracking the infected skin. The infected skin falling off can increase the chances of the spread of rash to other parts of the feet, and in extreme cases, it spreads to the sides of the feet too. The fungus attacks the skin and makes it cracky and dry.
