Pseudogout
Pseudogout is one condition that people easily confuse with gout. The symptoms of Pseudogout are very alike to those of gout but the flare-ups of pseudogout are typically less severe. The considerable difference between pseudogout and gout is that the joints might suffer irritation by calcium pyrophosphate crystals rather than the buildup of uric acid crystals. Pseudogout needs different treatment in comparison to gout. Moreover, pseudogout develops due to the formation of calcium pyrophosphate crystals in the synovial fluids of the joints.
