Lateral bend

Bending your neck lateral with a slight force can strengthen opposite-side neck muscles and help relieve neck pain.

How to do it:

  1. Sit up and relax your shoulder muscles.
  2. Gently tilt your head and neck to the left side as if you are going to touch the left ear to your shoulder.
  3. Tilt your head in this position for 20 seconds, then rest.
  4. Repeat 5 to 10 times throughout the day.
