Exercises for low back pain
The following exercises are especially designed to help ease pain in the lower back. These exercises help reduce inflammation by building the muscles in the back and improving flexibility.
1 – Back flexion stretch
Back flexion stretches the back and spine muscles.
How to do it:
- Lie on the back on a flat surface and hold both knees with your hands toward the chest.
- Move the head forward at the same time until you feel a comfortable stretch across the upper and middle of the back.
- Hold this position for a while and repeat this several times.
