Cat-Cow stretch
The cat-cow stretch combines two yoga poses and helps to relieve pressure on the slipped disc by opening and creating space between the intervertebral disc space.
How to do it:
- Bring yourself in cat position by stretching on your hands and knees. Let your stomach drop towards the floor while inhaling and look up towards the ceiling.
- Now exhale while slowly rounding your spine and slightly curving your neck to look at your feet.
- Aim for ten repetitions of this stretch and do 2-3 sets daily.
