Cat-Cow stretch

The cat-cow stretch combines two yoga poses and helps to relieve pressure on the slipped disc by opening and creating space between the intervertebral disc space.

How to do it:

  1. Bring yourself in cat position by stretching on your hands and knees. Let your stomach drop towards the floor while inhaling and look up towards the ceiling.
  2. Now exhale while slowly rounding your spine and slightly curving your neck to look at your feet.
  3. Aim for ten repetitions of this stretch and do 2-3 sets daily.
