Using Sodium Bicarbonate:
In the cases of renal damage in the patients of hyperkalemia, the use of sodium carbonate much helps in counteracting the conditions like acidosis. Sodium carbonate also helps in the promotion of potassium movement from the blood or extracellular spaces back into the cells. The intake of sodium bicarbonate temporarily keeps the potassium levels of blood under control, thus preventing any further progression of hyperkalemia symptoms.
