Chest Pain:
Chest pain or palpitations are another greatly occurring symptom of hyperkalemia in most of the patients. When a person is having more than normal levels of potassium in his or her blood, then the excess potassium causes the malfunctioning of heart muscles which consequently results in producing irregular heart beating. The higher potassium levels cause squeezing pain, and the person feels a pressure on his chest or arms. The chest pain or palpitations are a severe indication of irregular working of heart muscles, which is very important to treat immediately and adequately.
