Paralysis:

The increased levels of potassium levels in the blood cause periodic paralysis in the patients. The excessive amount of potassium in blood causes involuntary muscle hyperexcitability, which results in uncontrollable shaking of the limbs along with paralysis. The person is undergoing paralysis experiences loss of muscle function in either one part of the whole body.
