Consuming alcohol not only increases the risk of developing pancreatic cancer, but more than 10 types of cancer. The acetaldehyde is transformed into carcinogen when dissolved in blood. These carcinogens prevent the DNA from replicating properly during the cell division. Consuming high amounts of alcohol increases the risk of chronic pancreatic which further leads to pancreatic cancer.
