Biopsy
The most confirmatory procedure to diagnose any cancer is a biopsy. Biopsy is performed on a sample extracted from the suspected area of the organ, which has been assessed under other imaging techniques. Sample can be excised via laparoscopic procedure, or fine needle aspiration technique. A microscopic study of the sample can detect any cancer cells present in it.
