Surgery
Only 20% of pancreatic cancer patients undergo surgery. This is because mostly when the patient is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the cancer has already reached the metastatic state. Before the surgery the doctors guide the patients about the procedure, the recovery time and side effects.
