Targeted therapy
Targeted therapy involves the use of certain drugs that attack some vulnerabilities in cancer cells. The drugs that are available for targeted therapy are not commonly available for the treatment of mesothelioma patients. A doctor first performs tumor DNA testing and then goes for targeted therapy for mesothelioma patients.
