The problem in speech

Speech problems that include slurred speech, i.e., dysarthria and loss of volume, i.e., dysphonia, occur in almost half of the people having multiple sclerosis. Having speech problems is more common in the patients that have a progressive stage of multiple sclerosis, and it occurs more frequently during the time extreme tiredness and weakness. Approximately 25 to 40% of the people having multiple sclerosis suffer from stuttering in their speech as well.
