The ongoing neurological damage in the body due to the immune system’s abnormality causes the disturbance in the expressions of feelings. The emotional responses are not the same as a normal person in the case of people having multiple sclerosis. The emotional responses become scrambled, causing abnormal reactions like laughing at sad news or crying at something funny. The balance between the feelings of sadness and happiness does not disrupt day by day as the neurological damage is advancing.
