Swallowing problems

The swallowing problems or dysphasia occurs in the patients having a severe form of multiple sclerosis. Swallowing problems occur as a result of damage happening in the nerves that control the small muscles in the esophagus and mouth. The damage to the nerves controlling the muscles that bring voluntary movement might cause serious problems in the patient.
