A brain tumor that involves centers in the brain involved in balance and coordination, i.e. the cerebellum, can result in symptoms like spinning of the room. Dizziness, imbalance when performing tasks, loss of perception of surroundings etc. are common signs of many drugs or inner ear ailments, however, they call for urgent attention if accompanied by other symptoms of a brain tumor as mentioned above, particularly headache and vision disturbance. Dizziness can also be felt due to nausea or vomiting as explained above.
