Repetitive nerve stimulation test measure the ability of nerves by attaching electrodes directly the skin. it checks the ability of the brain to transmit nerve impulses towards muscles for several times, if the nerves get worse in sending signals with fatigue, then it tests positive for myasthenia gravis. The attaching of electrodes might be uncomfortable for some patients.
