Finger Overuse

One of the major cause of trigger finger is repeated or forceful movements of the finger or thumb. A body can perform in extreme stress conditions and can show full efficiency, but the human body also requires rest. The extensive use of a finger or repeated movement of the finger can result in inflammation of the tendons present on that area in which case the tight bands of the tissue that connect muscle and bones of the finger or thumb can get inflamed. As these muscles of the hand are responsible for the proper movement of the finger, so inflammation of these muscles or tendons restricts the movement of the finger and the person can suffer from trigger finger due to overuse of finger.
