Turmeric and spring onion kefir soda bread
Ingredients
- Coriander seeds 2 tsp
- Plain flour 225g
- Unsalted butter 150g
- Kefir 2 tbsp
- Sea salt flakes ½ tsp
- Flour 225g
- Ground turmeric 2 tsp
- Bicarbonate soda 1 tsp
- Butter 25g
- Rolled porridge oats 75g
- Spring onions 4
- Kefir 375ml
Method
- Mix in all the dry ingredients and then rub in the butter cubes with your fingers.
- Now pour kefir over the mixture and knead the dough well.
- Bake for 40 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
- Make the kefir butter by adding sea salt and butter. Serve the kefir butter with bread.
