Swollen Lymph Glands

The lymph nodes will swell in the primary or acute stage and appear after a few days to weeks of infection. The swelling mostly occurs in the nodes around the neck region and can be observed. The armpits and groin nodes will also swell within a few days of infection. The person should contact the doctor as soon as he/she realizes these two things: first, he/she exposed to HIV person and second, he/she has swollen lymph nodes.
