Viral Load test

It is used to measure the amount of HIV in the blood, mostly performed in early stages or to assess the treatment outcomes. This test involved the use of different measuring techniques such as Reverse Transcription PCR (RT-PCR), Nucleic Acid Sequence-Based Amplification Assay (NASBA) and Branched DNA (bDNA).
