Muscle weakness

One of the most significant symptoms of muscular dystrophy is muscle weakness. This disease affects skeletal muscles, which are used for movement as muscles support the whole body and make it possible for the person to move. The weakness in muscles starts to appear in early childhood and worsens rapidly. The affected child may find it difficult to walk, stand, and sit. With time the muscle weakness reaches to a degree that the person becomes dependent on a wheelchair. The severity of this disease can result in a person’s total dependence on others to complete even small tasks.
