Chest Pain
A person might feel like he is having a heart attack when they go through chest pain in the condition of pulmonary embolism. The pain in chest is often sharp and you can feel it when you deeply breathe in and might even stop you from taking deep breaths. Chest pain arising due to pulmonary embolism is also common when the patient tries to bend, cough, or stoop. Chest pain might also get severe when a person’s lungs start deflating which is usually spontaneous or results due to a chest trauma.
