The difference in leg lengths

Muscle imbalance

Leg length discrepancy (LLD) is a condition in which one leg’s length is shorter than the other, resulting in a limping gait. There have been some researches that show a link between leg length discrepancy (LLD) and scoliosis. LLD causes pelvic obliquity, a condition in which one side of the pelvis is higher than the other as it is now known that 60% of children with scoliosis also have pelvic obliquity, which makes LLD and indirect cause for leading scoliosis.
