An adult scoliosis can lead to pressure on the nerve, causing irritation, pain, and numbness around the spine. You might also feel a tingling sensation in the lower back of the feet. In these conditions, the injections of steroid and anesthetics are usually prescribed to the patient. These injections are inserted in the back, but they are only a short-term solution and last only a few weeks.
