Constipation

One of the signs of the digestive issue is constipation. The patients suffer from reduced stool frequency by increased consistency, abdominal pain, and distension. The frequency of constipation is not clear yet, but the studies have reported a 26% prevalence of patients from ages 0 to 26.

Constipation occurs when thick stool stays in the large intestine due to thick mucus. When the body has thick mucus but not enough fluid in the intestine, it can cause constipation and even bowel obstruction. Distal obstruction syndrome can cause symptoms like hard stools, constipation with few bowel movements. In severe cases, the gut can be completely blocked that hard immobilized mass can be felt on the right side of the abdomen.
