Formation of polyps
Nasal polyps are formed as a result of chronic inflammation of the nose. When the lining inside the nose is inflamed and swollen, it results in soft, non-cancerous fleshy growths on the lining of nasal passages. The polyps can blockage the nasal passage and make it difficult to breathe.
