Gastric Polyps
A polyp is a mass of cells, which is a product of cell division, and projects beyond the surrounding margins. The abnormal division of cells in the gastric lining of the stomach can lead to stomach cancer. However, most of the bumps that appear because of gastric polyps are non-cancerous, but some might turn into cancer over time. There are different types of gastric polyps.
