Other illnesses, such as diabetes, can also lead to stomach cancer. Due to diabetes, the patients become more vulnerable towards the H. Pylori infection in the stomach and the healing after any surgical procedure becomes more difficult. Moreover, the treatments such as chemotherapy and targeted therapy poses negative effect on the normal functioning of the heart, resulting in high blood pressure and hypertension. These problems also decrease the survival rate because of combined associated morbidity.
