Depression
Another complication with Alzheimer’s is severe clinical depression. The patients are unable to cope with the depressed situation because of their loss of cognitive functions. Some symptoms that occur as a result of prolonged depression include:
- Mood swings
- Difficulty focusing
- Sleeping problems
- Losing your social circle
