Alzheimer’s disease can cause loss of control of the body in regard to the performance of normal body functions.  Infections can spread quite easily in Alzheimer’s patients as the immune system gets weaker. There is an increased risk of getting fluid and food particles in the wind pipe and lead to pneumonia and aspiration. Infections can be a life threatening complication for the patients having Alzheimer’s. There is also an evident possibility of getting other respiratory infections, which needs sudden medical assistance. Some of the few symptoms of respiratory infections include:
