Recognition Problems
Alzheimer’s not only affects the memory of a patient, but also make them unable to recognize people even their loved ones. The growing recognition problems in later and middle stage of Alzheimer’s lead to the widening of the bridge between the patient and their family members. The impairment of visual perceptions makes the Alzheimer’s patient to not recognize their close family members and thus leaves them feeling unrelated. The recalling and recognition of familiar things and people suffers impairment – thus indicating the progression of Alzheimer’s.
