MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging or MRI is the use of magnetic fields in order to find detailed images of colon cancer. It is used to determine the location and size of the tumor. A special dye or contrast media is also injected into the patient’s body for in order to get better pictures. MRI does not use X-rays, which is why it is safer.
