Avoid alcohol
Avoiding alcohol can not only prevent the cancer from happening, it also helps the cancer from getting worse. After breakdown the acetaldehyde in alcohol are transformed into carcinogen, which can alter the DNA of the cells causing mutations. Colon cancer due to excessive drinking problems is more common in males. It is advised to drink not more than one glass in a day to avoid the risk of colon cancer.
