Rapid, weak pulse
To compensate for decreased blood volume and lowered blood pressure, heart pumps the blood faster. This is a reflex mechanism to maintain blood supply throughout the body, however, due to decreased pressure the pulse is feeble and weak. In some cases, palpitations can be observed.
