Kidney Problems
The kidneys filter all the waste products out of the blood. However, when there is the thickness of blood in people with sickle cell anemia, the kidneys become damaged over time.
The condition may lead to several problems, such as:
- Having blood in the urine
- Bedwetting
- High blood pressure
