Acute Insomnia

Acute insomnia, which lasts only for a brief interval of days, is known as acute insomnia. Acute insomnia usually comes in a shorter episode form due to a specific life event or some tiredness due to traveling. Certain life events such as hearing some bad news or an unpleasant change in a person’s job or work lead to acute insomnia. The condition of acute insomnia usually prolongs for less than three months and mostly includes one or two sleepless nights. The quality of sleep is also reduced and makes the person dull all day long.
